There’s something deeply satisfying about throwing a form that’s simple, clean, and made for a purpose.
Cachepot comes from the French cache-pot, literally “hide pot.” Sometimes called a sleeve, it’s made without a drainage hole so a potted plant can slip right inside — no repotting required.
The understated form is finished with a classic dentil motif around the rim, a subtle architectural detail that gives the piece a timeless character.
Available in two distinctly different glazes. Cloud White is soft and luminous, while Verdigris Marbled is made from copper-infused clay marbled with white clay, creating a pattern that is unique to every piece.
Each cachepot is hand-thrown and high-fired for a durable finish.
- Hand thrown in Rockdale, Wisconsin by Peter.

- Each pot is made by hand on the potter's wheel, and glazed by hand. Slight variations in size, glaze application and texture are elements of the handmade process and are to be expected.
