This stoneware vase is hand-thrown on the wheel and finished with gentle spiral fluting—a technique applied while the clay is still soft using a simple wooden tool. The grooves follow the form's natural height, creating a quiet sense of movement that draws the eye upward. A understated yet thoughtful vessel for displaying flowers or standing alone as a sculptural accent.
Our stoneware is fired to 2350° Fahrenheit, and is completely water tight. However, if you're placing a water filled vase of flowers on a piece of fine furniture, please put a cork or woven mat underneath it to protect your furniture from any condensation that may form.
