Handthrown, soda-fired vase, which was altered to a square shape on the potters' wheel.  It is unglazed on the exterior, and was treated very kindly by the kiln gods, yielding a surface rich with the texture of natural clay, given a blush by the soda fumes in the firing.

    Glazed, water-tight, non porous clay body, but care should be taken when using on a surface that could be marred by condensation due to humidity.
