Handthrown in Wisconsin
New work in Red Terra Cotta will be out of the kiln by August 31st
Handthrown in Rockdale, Wisconsin
Although most of my work is in white clay, I make some red terra cotta pots every year. These have been fired to approximately 1950 degrees fahrenheit, and before firing were rubbed with fine kaolin clay to soften the texture, and give a headstart to the aging process.
