This is a traditional style English watering can, inspired by ones from the 17th century. (See accompanying photo with a beauty from the wonderful "Antiques in the Garden" book). It pours with a very pleasing shower, and will give you a smile if watering your plants, or having on the table with a few flowers.

Lead-free glaze, but not intended for food use. Although this pot is glazed, earthenware pots are porous, so use a waterproof saucer or plate underneath if using as a vase.
